CAN I COLOUR MY HAIR?
YES - but there are a few rules to get the best results and protect your hair.
Toning or Tinting: You can tone or apply a semi/permanent tint in the same appointment as your nanoplasty. We do it all the time.
Using Bleach: If you’re planning to bleach your hair, you’ll need to wait 2 weeks before or after your nanoplasty. Bleach is too harsh to combine with the treatment on the same day.
Will it affect my colour? Nanoplasty can fade your colour and slightly shift the tone - especially if you’ve got blonde or grey hair. Some people notice warmth or a golden glow coming through after the treatment.
Blonde Hair? We’ve Got You: We offer a blonde-friendly version of nanoplasty to help maintain the cooler tone and reduce discolouration. Just let us know at your consult.
CAN I SWIM AND SIT IN THE SUN?
Chlorine and Saltwater: Avoid exposure to chlorinated pools and saltwater for at least one week post-treatment to prevent the treatment from fading prematurely.
Protection: If swimming is unavoidable, wear a swim cap or apply a protective leave-in conditioner to minimise exposure.
Sun exposure: To protect from UV, shield your hair from excessive sun exposure by wearing hats or using hair products containing UV filters.

Why would you need a pre treatment?
If your hair is damaged, over processed or chemically treated, this will make sure your hair is in the best condition prior to your Nanoplasty. Think of it as setting the perfect foundation so your hair can get the full benefit of the Nanoplasty treatment.

Post treatment
You’ve got that sleek, frizz-free finish and your aftercare plays a big role in keeping your results long lasting.
What do you need to use?
Use Sulfate-Free Shampoo / Hydrating Hair Masks / Heat Protection
Consultation: A thorough assessment of your hair type and condition to tailor the treatment accordingly.
On the day of service: We ask you to come with clean hair and your hair in its natural state - shampoo and condition at home, do not apply any products after as this could block the Nanoplasty from performing.
Application: The Nanoplasty formula is meticulously applied to each section of the hair, ensuring even coverage.
Processing: The treatment is left to penetrate the hair shaft for appoximately 60-90 minutes.
Rinsing and Drying: Excess product is rinsed out, followed by blow-druing.
Sealing: Hair is straightened using a flat iron to seal in the treatment, resulting in smooth and sleek finish.
Finishing: We finish by washing and blowdrying your hair.

COLOURING:
You can tint or gloss your hair on the day. You will need to wait 2 weeks either side of the treatment for any lightening services.
STYLING:
Feel free to tie your hair up or style it as desired without worrying about effecting the treatment outcome.
WASHING:
You can wash your hair immediately after the treatment. However, waiting 24 hours before the first wash can enhance the treatment’s effectiveness.
